Last years was larger and had holes to hang on the wall. This one is not even a real calandar. Its more like a picture book. But the girls are sexy and the pictures and layout are well done. Just go back to the old format from 2011.

The Calendar combines lush beaches and scenery with beautiful women and figures. The colours in the photography and perfect , although the dates are in a big font, with no room to pencil things onto which seems a large waste of space.

On a personal note, the women were slightly too 'model like' for me & seemed a little bit to perfect & plastic as opposed to beautiful women who may be more curvy etc

Have purchased this calender for years from the same clothing store every time. Purchased this years to find it is a coffee table book on recycled paper. WTH is this can't use it for a calender on my desk because you can't hang it. Who ever decided this should be fired and glad it was made from recycled paper so I won't feel bad when I recycle it to the round file.

So, i just got my new Reef calendar and i want to cry. First, what's the first thing you do with a calendar? You hang it. There are no holes. Second, they have switched to printing on recycyled paper- GET REAL, the images are no better than whats printed on a fast food bag. I'm not kidding. Third, the girls' pics are about a quarter of the size they used to be, making this the most boring swimsuit calendar ever! After i literally drilled a hole through the thing to hang it i realized I must review this and announce that- REEF IS DEAD TO ME

I agree with some of these other reviews. REALLY BUMMED about this years calender (no pun intended). I throughly enjoy glancing at my reef calender as I get up and ready for the day. The beautiful women are both motivating and inspirational while the photography maintains a classy balance of color, elements and beautiful curves of a woman's body.

This year, the calender is a book that cannot be hung up on my wall and I am extremely disappointed to say the least. Why Reef would switch to a coffee book format as opposed to a hanging calender is beyond me, but if this trend continues into next year my prediction is that calender sales will drop dramatically because a calender is meant to be hung! Even desktop calenders remain open to serve a purpose, but this thing is a straight up book and wants to remain closed unless you are looking through it.

I purchased this years calender because I was expecting something I could hang on my wall. I picked it up and looked at it through the wrapping at my local surf shop and thought "it looks kind of strange this year, there are no holes to hang this bad boy up!" I thought "this can't be," but as I tore it open and realized it could not be hung my disappointment fully set in. I don't have a coffee table, but I do need a calender on my wall. If next years edition is another book there will truly be no reason for me (and probably many others) to purchase it again. Sorry guys, but really bummed :/ and I STILL need a calender to hang on my wall. I don't even know what I am going to do with this thing, it will probably end up in a drawer with all my other books :/

If the photography and girls did not remain great I would have given this product 1 star, but the beauty remains and that is worth something :)

If Reef decides to print out another HANGING 2012 edition, I would LOVE to be among the first to know. I will pick it up in a heartbeat :)

i really was dissapointed with my first ever reef calendar. i am no pro by far, but in my opinion the photo shots were a little on the "back side only" of the ladies. theres more to beauty then umm, the butt! all and all the shots are great.a calendar maybe geared toward a younger crowd.

I am dissappointed that the Reef Girl Calendar can't be hung up. I miss the wall calendar. Even though the photo layout is nice it will be tucked away somewhere and forgotten.

Ripoff. This isn't a calendar, it's a book. You can't hang in on the wall! Look I need a calendar, not a book! I've been buying the REEF calendars for years. Now you made it a book. Will they always be books? I don't know. Now I can't buy them anymore because how do I know they're is going to always be books -- something I don't need -- from now on?
